Este trabajo plantea y presenta una propuesta de creaci?n e ilustraci?n de cuentos para fomentar los h?bitos de lectura y escritura en estudiantes entre 10 y 11 a?os de la Unidad Educativa Comunitaria Intercultural Biling?e Shi?a de la Comunidad Ra?as, cant?n Nab?n. Adem?s, considera la importancia de estos h?bitos en el proceso educativo y propone el uso del cuento y la ilustraci?n como recursos que pueden generar inter?s en los estudiantes de los subniveles de educaci?n media y superior de la educaci?n b?sica, en este caso, de s?ptimo grado de Educaci?n Intercultural Biling?e. El cuento, como herramienta pedag?gica, se trabaja en consideraci?n con los intereses de los ni?os, la relaci?n con el entorno, la oralidad de los pueblos del Ecuador y algunos escritos latinoamericanos de este g?nero, permitiendo de esta manera que el ni?o cree sus propias historias. Para ello, se ha dise?ado una propuesta denominada ?Taller de cuentos: manos a la obra?, basada en experiencias y aportes de escritores como Giovanni Rodari, Cornelia Funke, entre otros del contexto ecuatoriano y latinoamericano que presentan alternativas como: el uso de mapas, la ilustraci?n, creaci?n de historias para trabajar el cuento con los ni?os y fortalecer los h?bitos de lectoescritura.
This study presents a proposal of the creation and illustration of tales to promote reading and writing skills among 10 to 11-year-old students from the Unidad Educativa Comunitaria Intercultural Biling?e Shi?a, Nab?n?s canton. Considering the importance of the aforementioned skills in the educational process these tales aimed to be used as educational resources that increase the interest of the students of the middle and superior sublevels of basic education. In this case, seventh level of Bilingual Intercultural Education. The use of tales as pedagogical instruments considers children and their relationship with the environment, the orality of the Ecuadorian people and some Latin American writings of this genre. This allows children to create their own stories. For this reason, this proposal entitled ?Workshop of tales: hands to the work? was created. It was based on the experiences and contributions of writers as Giovanni Rodari, Cornelia Funke, among other Ecuadorian and Latin American writers. The tales present alternative contexts such as: the use of maps, the illustrations, stories to create tales with children and, ultimately, strengthen the reading and writing skills.
