Utilización del androgeno 17 a- Metiltestosterona en inmersión para reversión sexual en tilapias rojas durante el crecimiento en el programa acuicola del gobierno provincial de Pastaza

En el Proyecto Piscícola Jacalurco del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado de la provincia de Pastaza, cantón Mera, parroquia Madre tierra, sector Putuime, ubicado a una altitud de 980,0 m.s.n.m., temperatura media 18,0 °C y humedad relativa 85,0 %; en 3.600 tilapias rojas de un día de nacidos y un peso promedio de 0,010 gr, se estudio el efecto de tres dosis (2,0; 4,0 y 6,0 mg por litro de agua) de andrógeno (17α-metiltestosterona) en inmersión para la inducción de la masculinización de tilapias rojas (Oreochromis sp) durante el crecimiento 1 a 75 días de edad; la distribución de la unidades experimentales se realizó aplicando el diseño de Bloques Completamente al Azar, con tres repeticiones por tratamiento y el tamaño de la unidad experimental de 300 tilapias. Los resultados experimentales determinaron sin registrase diferencias estadísticas (P >0,05) las mayores ganancias de peso al usar 4,0 y 6,0 mg de andrógeno con 55,97 y 55,33 gr; los mayores consumos de alimento en el testigo (sin hormona) con 59,57 gr; las mejores eficiencias de conversión alimenticia al usar 6,0 mg de andrógeno con 1,06; las mayores longitudes al emplear 2,0 y 6,0 mg de andrógeno con 5,77 y 5,73 mm; el menor porcentaje de mortalidad al usar 6,0 mg con el 1,78 %; con diferencias altamente significativas (P <0,01) se detectó el mayor porcentajes de reversión de las tilapias al usar 4,0 y 6,0 mg de andrógeno (17α-metiltestosterona) con 77,47 y 94,11 %, respectivamente; las mayores rentabilidades económicas, se determinaron en la dosis de andrógeno 6,0 mg con 1,35 de B/C. En consideración a los resultados alcanzados, se recomienda en la zona oriental del Ecuador, a los productores de metilatestosterona) tilapias por usar litro de 6,0 agua mg para de la andrógeno (17α- reversión sexual 153 precisamente por haberse determinado efectos positivos en las variables de estudio y lograrse rentabilidades económica satisfactorias

In consideration to the reached results, it is recommended in the oriental area of the Ecuador, to those producing of tilapias to use 6,0 androgen mg (17?-metiltestosterona) for liter of water for the sexual reversion in fact to be had certain positive effects in the study variables and to be achieved satisfactory economic profitabilities
