Description

The present research approaches art as an innovative grapho-plastic tool, with the objective of contributing to the stimulation of fine motor skills of 3-year-old children of the Early Childhood Education Center (CEI) Antonio Borrero, implementing innovative grapho-plastic techniques linked to art, based on the difficulties detected during the classes in the virtual modality and the headings described in the theory. Shunta (2010) talks about fine motor skills and Doman (as cited in Bances 2012) talks about early stimulation. For this purpose, 7 to 12 children who regularly attended classes were selected. The data analysis obtained revealed that the sample presented difficulties in fine motor skills, especially in their visual-motor coordination. This research was carried out using the qualitative approach, the socio-critical paradigm; it is descriptive and applied. In addition, it was developed through the Research and Action methodology, in which a bibliographic review was made, the observation and interview technique was used, which allowed the collection of information. The results showed that the implementation of innovative grapho-plastic techniques, where art plays the main role, contributed to the stimulation of fine motor skills, especially in visual-motor coordination.
